Dragon Ball Z TV show was a well known animated TV series in the 1980’s and 1990’s. the shows is also known as DBZ in short form. This show was premiered first from the year 1989 however the DBZ show started in the US only in the year 1996 7th of April 2003. The series totally had eight seasons and the last one got aired and ended at April 7th 2003.

The story revolves around the protagonist called Goku who is sent to earth to destroy it completely. The series starts with Goku’s brother Raditz coming in search for Goku, as he has not accomplished his task so far. But what Raditz doesn’t know is that Goku has forgotten everything as he was dropped from a cliff when he was a baby. Due to the fall he loses his memory.

Goku totally doesn’t have knowledge about his brother’s visit to planet earth and also of his predictions to destroy planet earth and sell it to the highest bidder and finish off his job. In the meantime Goku is lost in the planet earth and the only way to reach him is by crossing the snake way which is filled with lots of dangers. So the story remains to answer whether Goku saves the planet earth or joins hands with his brother to destroy it.

The Z in the Dragon Ball Z stands for the set of new warriors who enter in the series later to aid Goku in their defense against planet earth. They fight together with Goku and help to save the planet earth from getting into the hands of invaders. The fights and stunts are very good with great graphics.

This series is only a continuation to the Dragon Ball series which was aired previously and has around 200 episodes. Apart from being an animated series the Dragon Ball show was also made into many movies and games.

The problem though is that the Dragon Ball Z series is not easily available and airs sometimes on Cartoon Network in the US. However, for someone who wants to start watching the series right from the start that is not an option.
